The Wall Cycling Studio, located in the Manayunk section of Philadelphia, PA, is a boutique, female-owned fitness studio that is dedicated to helping you move joyfully and be your best you! We offer a variety of cycling, barre, sculpt, and fusion classes that keep your workouts intense and never boring! You will love our instructors who create workouts that you can customize to your fitness level and goals. We are an inclusive space that believes movement is for everyone, and our member are not just clients but friends. Vicki has been a member of The Wall since it first opened in 2012. She loved it so much she became a Level 3 (Elite) Certified Spinning® Instructor! When you take her classes, expect eclectic playlists and challenging work efforts that push you to your limits! When not in the studio she can be found training for her next race or hanging out with her 6 senior rescue chihuahuas! She also spends time with her “studio hubby” Brian and her stepchildren Michael and Katie.

Chelsea has been teaching at the Wall since 2019 but has been a member of the Wall community before that. Specializing in Barre and Spin, you’re guaranteed to get a heart pumping workout when attending one of her classes. She received her Barre certification through Exhale and Rebounding Certification through Bellicon.
Chelsea is an East Falls native who been in the restaurant business for almost a decade, she found fitness in 2013 but always wanted to take her passion to the next level and instruct others. You’ll catch her walking around the neighborhood with her dog Penny and boyfriend Francisco, tending bar at Taqueria Amor or in the studio working up the next days adventure. Expect a fast-paced class jamming out to Bad Bunny, Daddy Yankee and EDM tunes.
Emily has been an instructor at the Wall since the summer of 2017. She loves teaching indoor cycling and creates fun and challenging classes featuring a wide variety of killer music, including obscure 90s alternative remixes and plenty of heavy beat jock jams (think Brad Lidge coming out from the bullpen in the 9th inning in game 5 of the 2008 World Series – oh also, she’s obsessed with the Phillies). When she’s not kicking butts in the spin room, she’s working in student affairs at Haverford College and spending time with her daughter Glenn and husband Dave!
Lawyer by day, fitness instructor by night, cat mom 24/7/365, Cait has been teaching at The Wall since 2019. Using her extensive background in ballet, Cait teaches barre with a ballet focus on form and functional fitness. Cait also loves teaching spin, spin & sculpt, cycling & lower body burn and TRX fusion. You can expect her playlists to be filled with female hip hop artists and a side of millennial nostalgia.
Growing up as a runner, Sarah discovered barre as a compliment to her high-impact fitness regimen. She fell in love with the energetic and dynamic workouts that translated strength into everyday movements.
As a self-proclaimed lover of burpees and long holds, you can expect to get your heart pumping and legs shaking in any of Sarah’s classes. Come have fun and challenge your limits to what you think is possible!
Elaina fell in love with The Wall as a client in 2017 when she was new to Philadelphia and looking for a community. Fast forward a few years and she became an instructor so she could help others find a sense of community they may be looking for, while growing stronger, and having fun. Her playlists contain everything from remixes of today’s hits to songs that predate the iPhone and anything that has a heavy beat.

Since I discovered The Wall Cycling Studio back in the Fall of 2014, it has completely changed my life. Fast forward to 2017 and I just completed my 3 year anniversary. I’m 40 pounds lighter, feel good, and thoroughly enjoy the challenge in every class I go to trying to top the previous class numbers. My favorite of course is spin class, but I also enjoy spin & sculpt and yoga classes.
The Wall is my absolute favorite place in Philly to work out! All of the instructors are friendly, motivating, and challenge you in every single class. I walk away from every workout at The Wall covered in sweat! In addition to the killer (but fun) workouts, the owner Julie, goes above and beyond to ensure members are happy and satisfied with everything The Wall has to offer!
